our legendary sundried tomato, sweet corn and kumara fritters on a pine nut and leaf salad, with smoked salmon. Yeah there are other spectacular goodies in the salad but I can’t be telling ya everything or there will be no surprise.

CHICKEN BACON AND CASHEW SALAD $22.50
Lettuce leaves mixed with julienne vegetables, cashews, herby croutons and some other goodies all tossed in an Italian vinaigrette and finished with marinated chicken, bacon and there’s a bit of smelly cheese too. Now there is a truckload of lettuce so f you don’t like rabbit food. Don’t order it.

Lots of shanks slowly braised for hours & hours with mushrooms, celery and carrots in a rich merlot sauce. Comes with garlic butter potato mash. Sounds nice if you’re into stews...Good on a chilly night.
PANNA COTTA
we reckon that we make it better here at the Three Cows than the Italians do. Comes with seasonal poached fruits and shortbread crumbs, this is food for the soul.
